Once I learned to adapt yoga to support my body and ability, I fell in love with the practice. The physical, mental, and spiritual benefits were undeniable. Back in 2015 while in a yoga class I had an “awakening” moment, realizing that I could become a yoga instructor and share the transformative power of yoga with the populations I had always worked with, including children, seniors, and individuals with various physical and cognitive abilities.
Since receiving my initial yoga certification in 2016, I have been fortunate to expand my knowledge through specialized training and continued learning, further enhancing my ability to adapt yoga for different needs. I completed my Certified Yoga Therapist Certification (C-IAYT) in 2024. I have also completed kids yoga training, pre & post natal yoga, and yoga for children with additional needs.
I’m excited to bring yoga to a wider community and empower others to experience the many benefits that come with exploring practice. Through accessible, trauma-informed teaching, my aim is to help everyone—regardless of age, ability, or experience—find a sense of balance, self-awareness, and joy on and off the mat.
My kids' classes incorporate music, sound, movement, breath practices, mindfulness, yoga philosophy, relaxation, and fun.
