Kelsey
Hi, I'm Kelsey! I’ve always loved working with children, and yoga has been a part of my life for many years. Combining these two passions to bring yoga to kids has been a dream come true for me. Over the past few years, I’ve been educating children about mindfulness and the benefits of yoga, mainly in the Vancouver area. My goal is to make yoga accessible to all communities, regardless of age or background.
Growing up in rural Ireland, we didn’t have the chance to practice yoga, but we spent a lot of time outdoors and used our imaginations to find joy in everyday moments. That sense of wonder and creativity is something I bring into my yoga classes today. I believe that yoga should be fun, dynamic, and accessible to everyone, and I’m so excited to share that with you all!
I’ve been practicing yoga since my late teens, and I deepened my personal practice in my early 20s. After the pandemic, I decided to complete my Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) and Children's Teacher Training to share my love and understanding of yoga with others. I’m lucky to teach yoga to students at the Vancouver School Board and bring it to so many children through my working life.
I can’t wait to meet all of you and have fun together through yoga!
